Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about ordering, printing, artwork, and delivery from Print Destination.

Ordering

How do I place an order?

You can place an order directly through our website. Browse our products, customise your design using the online designer tool or upload your own artwork, choose your quantity and specifications, then proceed to checkout. For bulk or custom orders, feel free to contact us at sales@printdestination.com.au.

Can I make changes to my order after placing it?

Changes can only be made before your order goes into production. Please contact us as soon as possible at sales@printdestination.com.au. Once production has begun, we are unable to make changes to artwork, size, or quantity.

Do you offer free design proofs?

Yes! We offer free design proofs on all orders. Our design team will send you a digital proof for approval before we begin printing. Production starts only after you have approved the proof.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Minimum order quantities vary by product. Most products such as banners and flags start from a quantity of 1. For bulk or wholesale pricing, please contact us directly for a custom quote.

Can I order a sample kit before placing a full order?

Yes, we offer a Sample Kit so you can check material quality before committing to a full order. You can request a sample kit from the Help Station section of our website.

Artwork & Files

What file formats do you accept?

We accept the following file formats: PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, PNG, JPG, TIFF. For best print quality, vector files (PDF, AI, EPS) are preferred. If submitting raster files (PNG, JPG), please ensure they are at least 150 DPI at full print size.

What resolution should my artwork be?

For high-quality print output we recommend a minimum of 150 DPI at actual print size. For very large format products like banners and flags viewed from a distance, 72–100 DPI at full size is acceptable. Please do not upscale low-resolution images as this will result in a blurry print.

Should I set up my file in CMYK or RGB?

Please set up all artwork in CMYK colour mode. Files submitted in RGB will be converted to CMYK during the printing process, which may cause slight colour shifts. If colour accuracy is critical, we recommend supplying a printed colour swatch for reference.

Do I need to include bleed in my artwork?

Yes, a bleed of 3–5mm on all sides is required for most products. This ensures no white edges appear after trimming. Please also keep important text and logos at least 5mm away from the trim edge (safe zone).

What if I don't have a print-ready file?

No problem! You can use our free online designer tool to create your artwork directly on our website. Alternatively, our in-house design team can create or fix artwork for you — contact us at sales@printdestination.com.au for a quote.
